Skin camouflage and needling both use advanced medical micropigmentation techniques to either flatten scarring or adding pigment to the skin where it is missing. If you have missing pigment due to a birth defect or following surgery, we may be able to help you.
Raised skin e.g., scars, sometimes requires a bit more work. We recommend skin needling to help it to flatten down. Needling is a process by which tiny needles are used to create small punctures. It encourages new collagen production and a better finish with pigmentation.
Medical micropigmentation can be used as skin camouflage (scar camouflage). Delivered using a digital machine to correct missing pigment whether that's from past injury, surgery or burn/knife marks, skin or scar camouflage is an effective solution.
We start the process with a full consultation through which we will discuss your medical history and discuss your aims for the treatment.
After the first consultation we are usually able to make a recommendation and set up a treatment plan. Please be aware that for some scars, more treatments may be necessary. We will advise you based on your individual circumstances.
