Areola Enhancement
Areola Enhancement Mastectomy , mastopexy and breast reconstruction surgery can leave you without a nipple or areola, but it doesn’t mean that you must live without it. Medical micropigmentation in the skilled hands of a Hazel Diamond technician can give you back the illusion of a natural, complete nipple or areola by colouring, contouring and enhancing your breast following reconstruction.
Areola restoration or 3D nipple (Areola & Nipple Micropigmentation) is a procedure, which we use to mimic the appearance of a natural nipple and/or areola following breast surgery. We use specialised pigments to help match to your other breast to the best of our artistry, or to use colours of your choice if you have had bilateral treatment. We use approved pigments that are delicately inserted into the dermal layer of the skin using our medical-grade device. Everyone’s skin is a unique canvas, and all respond and develop pigment within the dermal layer of the skin differently. We do not guarantee an exact result but recommend a minimum of 2-3 sessions. Trusting the process and following the aftercare is paramount.
Carried out by a skilled technician, 3D Nipple micropigmentation can create the illusion of a realistic nipple/areola. Areola or Nipple Enhancement
Breast reconstruction surgery can be a traumatic process, but this doesn’t mean that you must live without confidence. Our 3D nipple enhancement treatment will appear 3-dimensional regardless of if you have a surgically restructured nipple or not. It will give the illusion of one. It will restore your femininity and confidence.
Breast Reduction or Camouflage
Breast reduction surgery can leave you with scarring after your op. Scarring can be camouflaged using micropigmentation to blend natural-looking pigments through your areola to the scar tissue. Speak to your technician for more information.
Breast Augmentation Enhancement
Breast augmentation (breast enlargement) can sometimes make nipples look smaller and paler. We can enhance your areola colour to cosmetically adjust this to give you a look, which improves your confidence and balances out the change in size.
The Protocol Steps
1. Consultation
First a comprehensive consultation via telephone or in person. Book in today, as our waiting list can be 4 – 6 weeks! The contact form is here.
2. Allergy Test
Second is a mandatory patch test, skin tone & colour analysis to ensure you’re not allergic to the pigment. A deposit is then required to secure your booking.
3. Procedure
Consultation forms will be given for full written consent before any administration starts. The design of your desired shape, colour and your main objectives are agreed with you before we proceed.
4. Aftercare
After your initial treatment, you will be invited back for a recommended retouch session and review your results. All customers are required to follow the strict aftercare given, please read & follow steps here.

Before Your Initial Procedure
Before we can begin your treatment, all new customers are required to have a consultation appointment, either by telephone or in person. We will sometimes ask for photos to be sent to us privately to assess your requested area please see our privacy policy for how we treat your data. For those who we feel would benefit from our treatments, we would follow up with emails, a patch test and the deposit to secure your appointment.
After Your Initial Procedure
After your initial treatment at one of our clinics, you will be invited back to have a recommended retouch session and review your results. All clients of Hazel Diamond Ltd will be invited back to the clinic for their 6-12 weeks top up session or to return annually. Our regular clients are given a loyalty discount for annual and additional appointments.
